A growing family... {Frankfort maternity photography}

This beautiful mom is my teaching partner in Kindergarten this year.  She is, like me, new to K and we are figuring out this whole thing together...  I love love love her sweet little family and am so excited to see them growing.  Her little man is my new preK bff of the year.  LOVE that kiddo!  His sweet, exuberant smile warms my heart.

A walk in the woods... {Frankfort family photography}

This sweet momma works at our public library and was so wonderfully supportive of my children when they participated in her library programs when they were small.  It was wonderful to be able to photograph her family again this year.  We shot these images one year and one day after I took Henry's newborn photos last year.  Very cool.

Sunshine!!!! {Frankfort family photography}

I'm usually not a morning person, but I am so glad I got up for this one Sunday morning!  It was wet tramping through the grass but this family was super and the location just behind their home was so pretty.  Warm light filtering through the big maples and a big rolling lawn...perfect.

We'll see how this B&W image uploads!  It is truly BLACK and white, I swear!  I don't usually do sepia but that's how it seems in my blog preview.  The mysteries of computer technology...

Thanks Bevington family!

This is why I take photos... {Midway KY family photography}

OK, so I am not a great blogger.  I read other people's blogs all the time and am inspired and amazed at their humor, insights and eloquence.  That is so not me!  I forget to blog.  I get writer's block when blogging.  But, I am determined to be a better blogger.  And this family, this photo session seems a great place to begin.

Why?  Because this  session is the reason I love family photography.  It may not be everyone's "cup of tea."  The images aren't of the "look at the camera and smile" variety.  [which is a good thing because we all would have been nuts trying that with four children under 6!]  These images are REAL.  They are family.  And most of all they are all about love.  God has blessed this family with an abundance of love...and a good bit of cuteness thrown in as a bonus.  I hope you can feel it in these sun drenched images.

So thank you to the Robinson family!  Many blessings to you.

{Oh and this was supposed to be a gift certificate mini session but I got carried away with the cuteness and love.  You will have LOTS of images in your full gallery!}

I cropped in on this bit of this sweet photo.  You can feel the joy in his little expression.
